Ruth I. Holic
of Binghamton
Ruth I. Holic, 88, died at her home Monday, April 25, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Holic in 1979; her parents, Thomas and Bettie Anglin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Fern Gadosh, Grace (Arch) Bolerjack, Mayme (Ray) Martin, Maude (Ted) Wescott; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest (Ruby) Anglin, Harry Anglin, Leonard Anglin; Louis Anglin and Everett (Myra) Anglin. She is survived by her stepson, and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jean Holic, Tarpon Springs, Fla.; step grandson, Gary and Colleen Holic, Toronto, Canada; sister, Helen Gardner, Kansas City, Kansas; sister-in-law, Gladys Anglin, Gove, Kansas. Ruth was a special aunt to William Wescott, Rome, N.Y., James Wescott, Sarasota, Fla., Ruth (Joe) Rudball, Kirkwood; great-aunt to Lisa (Mark) Lewis, Laura (Roger) Dimick, Ted (Melissa) Adams, Robert (Tonya) Adams; great-great aunt to Rebeccah and Holly Carley, Mary and Roger Dimick, Karra, Zechariah, Jacob, Makayla and Cheyanne Adams and many other nieces and nephews. She was a former employee of Endicott Johnson and a retiree of Wilson Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Johnson City, with the Rev. Robert Kadlick, assistant pastor of the First Baptist Church of Johnson City officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. At Ruth's request, there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Say not in grief she is no more, but live in thankfulness that she was.
