Therese M. (Goughary) Klein
of Chenango Bridge
Therese M. (Goughary) Klein, 79, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her son, (Duke) Klein; also five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Elton (Al) Klein, Chenango Bridge; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy Klein, Canton, Ga., Tia and Mike Ryan, Maylene, Ala.; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Keith and Joanie Klein, Johnson City, John Klein, Chenango Bridge; and Grandma Mimi's loving grandchildren, Kelly Ann, Amy Jo, and Kevin Klein, Chenango Bridge, Danny and Megan Klein, Johnson City, Lindsay and Ashley Ryan, Alabama; also two sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Therese was a life member and past president of VFW Auxiliary #478, past secretary/treasurer of the Department of New York VFW Auxiliary, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #1194, and a member of the J.W. Thurston Marine Corps League Auxiliary, and she was also a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 16, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, and continue at 12 Noon in St. Catherine's Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Chenango Valley Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions in Therese's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
