Wayne Hurlburt Obituary
Ogdensburg, NY: Wayne E. Hurlburt Sr. 62, of Ogdensburg, NY, lost his battle to cancer on January 29, 2014. He was born in Homer, NY on January 1, 1952 and graduated from Owego, NY. He is survived by his wife, Pattricia Hurlburt; daughter, Bonnie Maslin and husband Tim Maslin; son, Wayne Hurlburt; daughter, Brittney Hurlburt; grandchildren, Freedom Boda, Timothy Maslin, Julia Hurlburt, Tristen Maslin and Tyler Hurlburt. Also survived by a sister, two brothers, and many nieces and nephews. He helped many people who were battling addiction. His hobby was working on the farm. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects in honor of him at daughter Bonnie Maslin's home at 126 Chestnut St., Owego, NY on February 9th at 12:00 p.m. as he has donated his body to medical science.

Hi daddy, I want you to know that I loved you so much and this is so hard. But I had promised you that I was going to be ok. I'm trying to so hard to be that person. It's not easy dad. I want to put one or two of my fave memories of you. I always use to wake you up to get ice cream money and way back when was 25 cents. I Know that you worked 2nd shift but I know that you always would say," Its in my pants pocket." You would always expect me waking you up. I thank you for that memory. There were so many memories for me to share and this one was one of the best. You always loved me waking you up. Thanks dad for all the quarters in the world. I love you! If only I can give you a quarter back.
