Alan Matteri Obituary
April 17, 1944 - July 26, 2021
Alan Howard Matteri 77, of Sebastopol passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2021. Alan will be remembered for many things and he will always be remembered for the kind and amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that he was. Alan was born April 17, 1944. He graduated from Petaluma High School in 1962 and married his high school sweetheart Sharon Matteri (Robinson) on February 20, 1965. Alan worked at Oretsky and Sons (Cotati Food Service) for 50 years before retiring in 2010. Alan is preceded in death by the love of his life Sharon. He is survived by his son James Matteri, and his daughters Lori Matteri and Tami Castro, 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, two brothers Ray Matteri and Tom Matteri and sisters-in-law Cathy Matteri and Patti Robbins. A viewing will be held Saturday August 7th at Pleasant Hills Memorial Park 1700 Pleasant Hill Rd. Sebastopol from 11am to 1pm with a service immediately following. A celebration of life will follow with location to be announced at the conclusion of the service.
