David Copenhaver Obituary

COPENHAVER, David B. Passed away in Santa Rosa, March 13, 2003. Dearly beloved husband of Sherlie Copenhaver. Loving father of David J. Copenhaver, Erika Copenhaver and Amanda Copenhaver, all of Santa Rosa. Adored son-in-law of Jose Antonio and Esmeralda Alvarado of Santa Rosa. Dear brother of Darlene Thomason. A native of Santa Monica, CA, age 63 years. A veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. A member of St. Rose Parish. Mr. Copenhaver recently retired as a Deputy District Attorney after serving for 25 years. He is a member of the California Bar Association. Mr. Copenhaver served as a volunteer for the Council On Aging, where he was a mentor and role model for the elderly, and was a well respected community activist and volunteer. Friends are invited to celebrate a Funeral Mass on Monday, March 17, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church. Vigil Services will be held Sunday, March 16, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at DANIELS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES. Friends may call at DANIELS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES on Sunday, March 16, 2003 after 12 Noon. If desired, donations in memory of Mr. Copenhaver may be made to St. Rose Parish, 398 10th Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95404 or to the Santa Rosa Senior Center, 704 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95405.
