Edna HACKER Obituary

91, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2014 in Bellingham, Washington. She was born in Lancaster, CA on March 1, 1923, to the late Carmen and Harry Hazard. She grew up in the Hessel area of Sonoma Country and attended Canfield school and Analy High School. She married the late Everett Hacker on June 17, 1939. Edna lived in her home in the Roseland area for nearly 75 years. She worked at the Roseland Ben Franklin for many years. Edna was very active in the Roseland community before her health declined. She especially loved helping with the children's Christmas Parties at the Roseland Fire House. She was a long time member of the Ancient Order of the Druids in Sonoma County. She also taught Sunday School at her church Tree of Life Fellowship. Edna and Everett were founding members of the Redwood Rovers Trailer Club. Edna is survived by three children, Janice Kiser of Napa, CA, Donna McCracken of Tacoma, WA, and Carol Dingman of Bellingham, WA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday March 12th at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church at 3595 Sonoma Ave., Santa Rosa, with reception following. Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
