This note is for Karyn. It was so special seeing you today, even under such a sad time. Nevertheless, you radiated your lovely spirit and strong as always.
I always remembered you as such a firecracker!! So, I just only wish I could have seen you and your handsome George together. It surely be would have been a super Kodak moment!!!( I did cop the fantastic photo of you, George and beautiful Celeste from the table inside ie., with my phone!!)
It was a beautiful reception and a big shout out to Amber for the extremely thoughtful and well done video.
LOVED the end where it's you asking him to sing you a song .
Take care of yourself my good friend, AND!! Never ever (!!) forget that you will be together again! And, even better!!: Everyone else will be there to give you God's LOVE.

This man had a smile that reflected the gentleness of his heart. After my husband passed in 1997, The Sequeira Family embraced me as one of their own. I am honored to have experienced this great cowboy, this gentle man. My love and prayers are with the family. He lives on in each one of you. Blessings ~

Out of the hundreds of photos and videos I have taken over the years at the Petaluma Ranch, I chose these. One just happens to be my favorite. The others have some history.
During the early 60's, anyone who owned a horse, or just liked horses,or had any type of connection to a horse, boarded, or just hung out at the Sequeira Ranch in Marinwood. I was ten when my sister, Karen got Chief for Christmas.
I did not know George but his presence was all over the ranch. I would see him walking his dog, Butchie or I remember him exercising their stallion, Black Jack. Forty-five years later, I am taking pictures of George exercising his stallion, Willie.
There was a span of many years from the Marin days before I would see George again. He began dating my sister in 2004.
I still remember when he picked her up at my house, he showed up in his truck, hauling Del and Socks in the stock trailer. I had room to park it it all. The best is George's truck and trailer is forever captured on an aerial photo by Google.....not that George ever cared a damn about anything that was high Tech.
I am so glad that George came into my sister's life. It was such a good match at the right time.
George, you are loved by so many and respected by all. We shall miss you, dearly.

So sorry to hear of George's passing. I do not know any of you siblings, but I went to Dixie School with both George and Albert from 1946 to 1951. In those years, I spent many a day on the ranch with them and Dan Perreira(not sure of the spelling). I moved to Sonoma and thus lost contact with them. Again, sorry for your loss. Three great friends at the time.

George Sequeria walked a little taller than most men especially to a fifteen yr old boy working on a ranch over fifty years ago. Just wanted to say what a difference he made in my life and how his life lessons have stuck with me all these years. Im sure he will be greatly missed.

Hello to the lovely Sequeira family. I well remember George and his parents at their ranch in Marinwood, California. I boarded my palomino mare for several years there. I remember seeing Celeste riding her feisty pinto ! I am wondering if Karyn Roberts is the daughter of my parents good friends who also grew up on Idylberry Rd. in nearly Lucas Valley. I will try to come on Thursday. My name is Lisa Nance. So sorry to have lost such a beautiful man. Love to all.

My condolences to the whole family in George's sudden passing. He and I created 2 beautiful children together, shared the Ranch life working hard and creating a beautiful Ranch life, as a horsemen and a cattleman, he is at the top, he knew good horse flesh, could ride like the wind, and tell stories,, he was captivating, he leaves a legacy behind that is something, he truly loved his children and when blessed with grandchildren, he was so happy, as well as a great-grandchild, each of you held a special space in his heart you all need to know, and that he continues to live on, in each of you in blood and in spirit. Ride high George, you will be Greatly missed.

Our hearts go out to Muffin and George's family. I've always adored him. The magnitude of loss I'm sure is unmeasurable and the universe was preparing Muffin with the losses of one animal after another last year but nevertheless did she or anyone expect this was coming and hindsight tells the powerful story...May our hearts become lighter by experiencing the spirit of this extraordinary man's legacy. George will live on in all of our hearts...

The last time I saw George was about 9 months ago, he had his arm up to his shoulder inside a heifer trying to save a calf and the mother. I think that is about as close to the admiration ( next to my father ) for a man that I have ever had. The sorrow for my sister and George's family cannot be expressed in words, it can only come from my heart.
