Pam HAGEMANN

1953 - 2018

HAGEMANN, Pam Passed away and joined her late husband Bruce Hagemann, September 25, 2018. She was born Pamela June Peterson, July 2, 1953, in San Jose, California. She was a joy to her family with her quick wit and warm heart. She had a special love for animals that would always cheer her up. Pam lived in Sonoma County since the 1960s and graduated from Analy High School in 1971. She married Bruce in 1977, settling in Bodega Bay where they started a family and raised sheep. In the late 80s, they opened Hagemann Ranch Trout Farm, which remains in operation by her family. She loved to see the smiles on kids' faces when they caught their first fish! Pam had a life-long love for ranch life and was active in 4-H when she was a child, competing in horse shows and riding with the Petaluma Junior Riders. Bruce and Pam hosted many Sheep Dog Trials at their ranch. For a while, they had the number one sheepdog in California named "Ben". Pam was an excellent cook and loved providing for family and others. She leaves behind three children: Heidi (Chris) Helgren, Heather Hagemann, Matt (Stephanie) Hagemann. Pam had many grandchildren; Alexandrea (Scott) Alderson, Katherine, Gregory, Andrew, Chance, Chase, Matthew, Joshua and Kelly, and three great- grandsons: Emitt, Owen, and Jaxon. Pam also leaves behind her brother, Pete Peterson, and sister, Penny Hutten, plus many nieces and nephews. We are having a Celebration of Life Saturday, October 27th from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at McCaughey Hall, 17184 Bodega Highway, Bodega, CA. Bring an appetizer if you would like.
