Additionally, he was a volunteer for Pets Are Loving Support, providing veterinary care for the pets of people with AIDS. At the time of his death Bob was the Medical Director at the Animal Hospital at the Humane Society of Sonoma County. A private Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2005. Dear Carol and Family,

I am deeply saddend to hear of Bob's passing. He was one of my very favorite people, the brightest and the best. Bob is what all veterinarians (as well as all human beings) should aspire to be, a gifted and extremely generous man. A person of great love and empathy, not to mention a stellar sense of humor. We will miss Bob very much and hold all the wonderful memories of him in our hearts. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

Sincerely,

Erin Montague

We are so very sorry to read of "Dr. Bob's" passing today in the newspaper. My daughter, Nicole, just adored him when she volunteered at the Humane Society last year. Please accept our sincere condolences. Our hearts go out to the family.
