Ron Leroy Prior, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 4, 2024, in Chiloquin, Oregon.
Born on May 18, 1945, in Portland, Oregon, Ron spent his formative years in Santa Rosa, California, where he was raised by his loving parents, Leroy and Gladys.
Ron's life was a testament to love, family, and friendship. He shared 26 wonderful years with the love of his life and best friend, Donna, creating a bond that was unshakable and filled with laughter and countless fishing trips. Ron's family was the heart of his world, and he cherished his son, Ron Jr., daughter Lori, son Roy, and daughter-in-law Amy. His big sister Sherre held a special place in his life, as did his six grandchildren: Acacia, Adara, Rustin, Cooper, Alexis, and Kinsley, who brought endless pride and happiness to his days.
Ron's presence was a source of strength and warmth to all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, talkative nature, and love will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of Ron's remarkable life will be held at a later date, as announced by his family.
