Ronald NELSON Obituary

NELSON, Ronald Jack Born November 11th, 1944 in San Francisco to Olaf Nelson and Monica Nelson (Weeck), passed away peacefully on April 2nd, 2018. Married for 46 years to his great love Kathryn Nelson (Umland). Ron leaves behind his wife and his sons Rick and Blake Nelson, their wives Erin and Candace and five grandchildren that he took great joy in spoiling, Alexis, Hannah, Scout, Chase and Declan Nelson. He is preceded by his sister Monica and his brother Don and leaves behind his trusted sidekicks, his brothers Rick and Jerry Nelson. Ron was a produce man who worked at various Safeway's in Marin County before working many years as a delivery driver for Marin Produce. He had a work ethic that was second to none. Ron was a man who had very few friends because if he liked you, he made you feel like a part of his family. His ability to make those he cared about feel special was his great gift. He was truly loved and will be missed greatly. Services will be held Saturday, April 21st, 3:00 p.m. at Hessell Church, 5060 Hessel Ave, Sebastopol, CA 95472. Dessert and coffee to follow.
