I met Abe through his son, Matt, who was in my Boy Scout Troop. He was a good man, who taught me a great many things. Probably the most important thing he taught me was patience and kindness. This planet will be a lesser place without him in it, this I am certain of. I found this looking for his son, just to reach out and say hello, and now my heart is heavy. My heart goes out to huis family, as I am all too familiar with the very ugly disease that took him far too early.

My name is Alex Canavan at [email protected]. I had went to high school with Abe. He was one of 6 best friends. In high school we were all inseparable. We kept in touch after high but we were separated by military etc. he and I hooked up and we went on a grand vacation with Mark on of our best friends and his family and sister.
Abe was a great friend and easy to talk to and shared his love with everyone. We lost track of him and his family after his dad died. There are 3 friend left I am one we have been looking for him. We are deeply saddened at the loss and not hooking up. Go in peace my dear friend you were loved and will be missed.
