Aunt Eulene,
Although you are in my heart and thoughts often, as Mother's Day approaches, your spirit seems to be stronger.

I have learned to appreciate my own mother more and more as she is struggling with her own health with cancer. Each day is now spent ensuring we hold onto the memories of the past and present because one never knows what the next day will bring.

I have told my mom that YOU are a guardian angel watching over all of us, because your family was so important to you.

So as Mother's Day approaches, please know that you are still very much a part of our lives and will always be in our hearts.

We love and miss you.

Your Niece,
Carole (Pyburn) Rogers

Hi Mom,
I was looking for Joe Stawniczy's obituary and couldn't find it, but it made me realize how long it's been since I made an entry for you.

Joe (Laura's dad) passed on 1/19/08, I'm sure you've already welcomed him...

I think about you a lot. Dad is well and misses you as we all do. Jessica is doing well in college and will graduate in May. I know you're proud of her. Sandy is doing well also, got a job.

Lastly, I'm doing well. Love you forever...

Aunt Eulene,
You came to my thoughts today,so I wanted you to know that you will always be with us and just a thought away.
I thought of you as well on March 29th, in that it would have my dad's 78th birthday. I am sure the two of spent it together in peace.

Hello Mom,

It has been awhile since I wrote. I just received the most beautiful e-card from Carole, your niece, who's in Arizona now. She was thinking of you and wanted us to know. I think of you every day and always will. Today is Jessica's birthday. She's 20, can you believe it! Seems like just yesterday she was born and you (and dad and all of us) were so excited. I reminded her that she made you so happy and you loved every minute with her.

Thanks for your guidance, past present and future.

With everlasting love, Cindy

I was thinking of you Mom and found a quote:

"Death is no more than passing from one room to another. But there's a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room I shall be able to see."-Helen Keller

I hope this is true for you and in that "other room" you will be the wonderful, vivacious, loving, passionate women we knew and love.

P.S. I know your spirit is light now and free...With Love...

Uncle Hub, Cindy and Sandy--

My love and prayers are with all of you. The news of Aunt Eulene's death brought back so many "great" memories for me from childhood. Our family was small, but we had love and good times. I hope that all of your memories of her help you all through this time. I know that when we all reconnected a few years back as adults, Aunt Eulene did not recognize me, but I know in my heart that her love for me was there.

Aunt Eulene has now reunited with all those that she loved and lost in her life, including my dad and their parents. Knowing her, she has her infamous "wooden spoon" in hand and setting everyone straight or else.

Love you to you all and we will be in touch.
