Harold Andrews Obituary

HAROLD ANDREWS (HAL), 82, passed away Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 with all his family present. He was born in New Haven, Conn. He served in the Air Force from 1952-1956. Hal married Betty in 1953 and they were happily married for 61 years. They moved to Norco in 1967 and lived there for 34 years where they raised their 4 children, then lived in Riverside for the past 14 years. Hal owned Skyspares Parts Co. for 34 years and retired in 2009. In the 90's Hal became a Master Gardener and grew about 100 varieties of tomatoes and peppers, always sharing with friends and family. He also loved photography, reading, square dancing, bowling, collecting Department 56 Houses, driving his motor home and camping with special friends and his square dance group. He is survived by his wife Betty; his children, Rhonda, Kevin (Trina), Bud (Cathy) and Debra; his 8 grandchildren Ryan, Chanel, Herc, Alicia, Julia, Haley, Brandis and Zena and he was very proud of their many accomplishments. Services will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 @ 11:30am at St. Francis de Sales Church, 4268 Lime St., Riverside, CA 92501. In Hal's memory, contributions can be made to Chapman Hospice, 6736 Palm Ave., Riverside, CA 92506.

Blessed to have known Hal for so many years. So thankful for that last big smile and hug from him at Alicia's graduation. Blessings to the Andrew's family. Love you all, Karen Blackburn

We have fine memories of your trips visiting in Connecticut. Well remembered. Beautifully written and he seems to be with us, with his picture, so true to him. I remembered, he loved to talk about his great family and give us their latest accomplishments

To the Andrews family What I remember of your dad was all the visits to Skypare for the morning coffee breaks!! Your dad would always say lets play some football. I know he will be greatly missed. God bless Hal Andrew
