Harold Kiech Obituary

HAROLD K. KIECH, JR. Harold (Hal) was born in Riverside 10/18/1921 to his parents Harold Kiech Sr. and Gladys Kiech. He is survived by his wife Betty and lived a happy, wonderful life for 61 years. Hal will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Everyone thought he had a great smile and he was always smiling. He went through his schooling in Riverside- grammar school at Lowell Elementary, Jr. High at Central, and graduated from Poly High in 1939. He graduated from RCC in 1941. Hal was in the Army from 1942 to 1946 and finished as a Corporal. He worked at Goehles and Courtneys grocery store. Hal is the second longest member of First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sons; David (Carol) Kiech, Donald (Mary) Kiech, daughter Patricia Kiech. 4 grandchildren; Rosie (Abel) Sandoval, Shawn Kiech, Kevin Kiech and Colin (Jessica) Kiech. Great grandchildren; Xavier and Xochtle Sandoval. Niece and nephew, Connie Guildner and Tim Dundore. Funeral will be held on Friday, February 29 at 9:00am at First United Methodist Church, 4845 Brockton Ave. Burial to follow at Olivewood Memorial Park, Riverside. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to First United Methodist Church.
