James Deegan

JAMES "JIM" DEEGAN Age 71, resident of Corona, CA for 25 years, formerly of Balboa Island, CA for 20 years, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008 at his residence. Jim was born January 22, 1937 in Chicago, IL. He was employed as a Salesman with Container Corp. for 30 years in Corona, CA. After retirement he worked for Santa Catalina Island Co. in sales and tours. In his spare time he loved sailing, woodworking, painting, photography and creative models. He was a member of the Corona Host Lions, Corona Chamber of Commerce, and Corona Navy League and American Cancer Society Board. He was involved in the restoration of Prado Dam and was a contributor to St. Joseph's Indian School and The Lakota Children. Jim is survived by his daughters, Pam Booher (Chuck), Chino Hills, CA, Jackie Travis (Richard), Margie Wuflestad (Mike) and Maureen Deegan, all of Corona, CA; sister, Judy Anderson, Chicago, IL; cousins,Mary LaLiberty and Aileen Deegan, both of Chicago, IL; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Laubham. Memorial Service at Crossroads Christian Church in Corona on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 10:00.
