I worked for Gen. Light from 1983-1987 at 15AF. I was his intelligence briefing officer. One day, I had an important report that I thought he should get; I called his office and was told he was on the golf course. I found him on the course and gave him a classified intelligence briefing. Not normal procedures, but he got the information. He personally handed me my retirement papers in 1987. A great man to work for.

I was so sad to hear of General Light's death. I worked for and with him at 15th AF HQ outside of Riverside, CA. He was a great boss and person.
