I was an intermediate clerk in records from 10/59 to 08/63 when I returned to my home in Houston, TX. Former Chief Deputy Lowery was friendly and a gentleman and he did my exit interview. My condolences to his family.

Sam, you will be missed and remembered lovingly. A memory of you that will always remain for me is your one liner upon finishing a dish you particularly enjoyed. "That was really great, what there was of it." Well, Sam, it really was, wasn't it?
May this journey be beautiful.
