Justin Michael McCarthy

McCARTHY, JUSTIN MICHAEL Age 78, of Riverside, passed away on 10/23/04 due to heart failure. Justin was born on 05/31/26 in Cleveland. Justin was a Senior Partner at Redwine & Sherrill from 1961-Present; Asst. City Attorney for the City of Riverside from 1959-1961 and Deputy County Counsel of Riverside County from 1956-1959. Justin was in the U.S. Army Corps from 12/7/43 to 12/27/46. Was Captain of the USCG Reserve from 12/20/60 to 1/1978. He attended Loyola University and graduated in 1950 with a B.S. Degree in History and graduated from Loyola University College of Law with a LLB in 1953. Justin was past president of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Diplomat San Bernardino Chapter 1987-1988; American Bar Association, Vice Chairman Condemnation Committee 1983-1987; Advisory Board, Notre Dame High School. He was a Charter Member of Serra International of Riverside; Riverside County, California and American Bar Associations; American Board of Trial Advocates; United States Coast Guard Captains Table; American Judicature Society; Leo A. Deegan Inns of Court. Justin is survived by his Wife of 51 years; Jane McCarthy, Daughter; Meg Waters, Sons; Justin C. McCarthy, Vincent T. McCarthy, and Grandchildren; Katherine and Madeline Waters, Riley and Molly McCarthy. Rosary: Thursday, 10/28, 7PM at Preston Simons Mortuary; Mass: Friday, 10/29, 11AM at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church; Private Burial: 11/1 at Riverside National Cemetery.
