In 1975-76, I was in college and working at the McDonald´s on University. Mr. Marshall would regularly come in for morning coffee. With an imposing appearance and build, and a very friendly demeanor, he was greeted with a smile every morning. We also learned of his passion for painting and African art. This is a very late post, I just saw the obituary. Mr. Marshall, if anyone is deserving of a spot watching over the flock, it is you. RIP, Sir.

Oh my God I am heartbroken. I just found this out, in November 2022, nearly a year later. The fact that I am the first person to reply to this breaks my heart. I had the joy of living next to Karl in my teens. He was a fine specimen of humanity, and always reminded me that no mater what, with a little bit of hard work and determination, there was absolutely nothing I couldn't achieve. Here is to a legend. You will be missed dearly my friend.
