Manuel Quiroz

MANUEL QUIROZ Age 91, passed away from kidney failure on March 4, 2013 at Riverside Community Hospital. He was born on July 30, 1921 in Riverside, CA and had been a lifelong resident. He was a electrician for 62 years and a union member of Local 440. He served in the Army Corp. of Engineers during WWII. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 1638 and VFW Post 9223. Manuel is survived by daughters, Margie Quiroz and Rosemarie Smith (Kerry), both of Riverside, CA; sons, Manuel A. Quiroz (Rosemary) of Riverside, CA; brothers Jess and Ernest Quiroz, both of Riverside, CA; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Albert Quiroz (Elvia) of Riverside, CA. Family will receive callers at the church from 9am until service time. Rosary: Monday, March 11, 2013 at 9:30am with Mass at 10:00am, both at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
