You and Michaela have been on my mind since I found out about Michaela's untimely death. You are such an awesome mom and you cared so deeply for your children. I looked forward to seeing you to get my updates about the going-ons of your family. You beamed with such happiness when you last talked about Michaela, having had just gotten great grades, getting her driver's license, shopping for jeans and so on. My heart aches for you and I was in tears when I heard the news. There are no words to express my shock and disbelief.
I hope you find comfort in God and in your family.

My heart goes out to those who lost such a precious gift from God. Though on this earth we endure sorrow and grief for the untimely death of such a young life with so much time left to live, please find comfort in knowing that she is the loving arms of her creator. He has spared her from the hurts, struggles and disappointments that this earthly life would have put her through. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family members that she left behind. Know that you have a heavenly Father too that will comfort you in your time of trouble. Turn to Him, cast all your cares on Him for He cares for each one of you. God Bless you always and forever!

Sorrow fills our hearts at this sad moment, a sorrow that is deep and personal. The news of the untimely death of Michaela Zickuhr came as a great shock. Her departure was sudden, unexpected and particularly distressing. I could not hold back the tears when I heard of her passing. It is difficult indeed to find words to express my regret at the death of this splendid girl. May the bereaved family find solace in the inspiring memories of the exemplary life of sweet Michaela.
