wow! talk about a small world. I heard about robbie 2 weeks ago during my annual trip to riverside. i remember all the fun we all had hanging out on navajo drive, riding bikes, listening to music, laughing-always laughing. And now, to read that robbie and family live near my parents, involved with the same high school and soccer club as my brother-in-law and his siblings...what a small world; small and sad with such a huge loss. my thoughts and prayers are with and for robbie's family. we should all remember his smile, his laughter, his genorsity and mirror him in our lives.

Dear Traci and Couch family -
Please forgive my tardines in sending condolences about my good bro Robbie. It was great to see him at the 30th reunion after all this time and share some memories of our exuberant, misspent youth. I just heard about Robbie and can't believe it. I remember, like it was yesterday, our high school years hanging out at Rob and Rod's house. Playing foosball, riding in the field and well, there are too many memories running through my head to write them all here. He was the definition of 'good people'. My thoughts are with all of you.

Rob was a positive influence for so many. He has touched the lives of so many young people with all of his participation in sports programs. For me personally, Rob was my role model as a father. We are all so much better because Rob was a part of our lives. A piece of Rob will live on forever in all of us who knew him.

I knew Robbie best during our childhood in Riverside. He was such a great kid both kind and funny. His passing bring back many many memories of playing sports all day in front of his house or in his and Rodney's basketball court. My friend Rob was a god person, a Christian man who loved the people in his life. Most critical of those people are his two awesome kids, Amanda and Matt. He was a true friend who will be missed by so many but his just not being here anymore will be a void that I will not fill again.

I am deeply saddened by Robbie's unexpected passing. I attended high school with Rob at Notre Dame and Poly. We had a special bond. Last year I got the chance to catch up with ROb and reflect on our lives and where our journeys had taken us. I can tell you his eyes lit up with deep affection when he talked about his kids and Tracy. He was a genuine person that will be loved and sorely missed by all who had the priviledge of knowing him. As part of your USD family, we send you our love, our prayers and condolences on the loss of a wonderful man. We met Rob 4 years ago when our sons began their college baseball careers together. We became instant friends. What an amazing ride it has been.......all the hopes, the dreams, the highs and lows, the wins and losses. On days when Matt pitched, Rob could be found off to the side hanging on every pitch. When he couldn't be there, he had all our cell phone numbers and could get the play by play instantly. Rob would always call with congratulations for success or encouragement for disapointment for anyone on the team. The USD dads are a special bunch. The roadtrips were the best. Matt, your dad will be watching every pitch again this year and your Torero dads will there in case he needs to call. We will miss you Rob!

My most sincere condolences to Rob's family and friends. I knew Rob for quite literally decades and had worked with him many times on many projects and in many capacities. His dedication to Apple was ever only surpassed by his total love and devotion to his family, particularly his children. There's a Winston Churchill quote I have in my office "We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give" Rob definitely made a life. I will miss him.
