Albert C. Kleiner

KLEINER, ALBERT C., 86 - of Ventnor, died on Sunday, December 7th, at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers point. Born in Russia, he came to America at age of four and lived in the Ventnor and Atlantic City area all his life. He attended Atlantic City public schools and Pierce Business School in Philadelphia, He served in the US Army for four years during WWII in the Battle of the Bulge, Anzio, Battle of Casino, and the African Theater. He owned and operated Kleiner's Mart, a supermarket in Atlantic City. He was a life member of the Community Synagogue Bais Kehila of Atlantic city, and served in its board. Albert's home was always opened to friends and guest, and he will be remembered for his love of family shul, and all the many good deeds he did for others. Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Selma Shayndel (nee Miller), brother Harry Kleiner, of Atlantic city, and treasured grandchild Jerry Yehuda Sostchin, and survived by daughters Beth Bayla Kleiner, of Ventnor, and Dana Chanitah Sostchin, of N. Miami Beach, FL, granddaughter Miriam Chaya Sostchin, who brought him tremendous nachas, sister Rae, Dunayer, of Margate, and Esther Lena of FL. Service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th, at 10:00AM, graveside, at Rodef Shalom Cemetery, Egg Harbor twp., Donations to Yeshivah Elementary School, 7902 Carlyle Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33141, in his memory will be appreciated.
