Vassallo, David A., - 85, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. He was a devoted husband to Barbara, father to Theresa, George, Kimberly, Joe and grandfather to Brittany, Kyle, Patrick and Chelsea. He was a beloved Uncle, Brother and Son during his life. He was a member of the National Guard. He was a retired firefighter who dedicated his life to serving and protecting others, both in his career and in his community. His selflessness, bravery, and unwavering commitment to helping others will forever be remembered and cherished. David was not only a devoted husband, father and grandfather but also a lead volunteer at his community church, where he shared his time, talents, and compassion with those in need. His faith guided his actions, and his generosity touched the lives of many. He exemplified kindness, humility, and a deep sense of duty to his community, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a true unsung hero. Known for his sweet nature, giving spirit, and remarkable patience, David was a pillar of strength and love for his family. His gentle demeanor, warm smile, and unconditional love, especially towards his wife Barbara, brought comfort and joy to all who crossed his path. His legacy of love, devotion, and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide us as we carry his memory in our hearts forever.

A celebration of David's life will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Our Lady of the Angel's Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
