Gonzalo Vega Obituary
VEGA, GONZALO, (Charlie) - of Egg Harbor Township, received his wings on Friday, June 29, 2007. Gonzalo was born in Sovereign Grandre, Puerto Rico on April 19, 1935. Gonzalo worked at the AtlantiCare Medical Center City Campus, and Lenox China. He retired from the Medical Center in 1999. Gonzalo loved to play his Latino music. He is loved by everyone, and will be missed so much. He is with the love of his life now whom he loved so much. Gonzalo was predeceased by: his loving wife, Evelyn Whitted; stepchildren, Vivian, Gerald and Bilal Whitted. He is survived by: his sons, Kent Whitted (Letisha) of Egg Harbor Township, Ivan Whitted (India) of Decatur, GA, Brian Whitted of Atlantic City, and Ramon, and Charlie Quinn of PA; stepdaughter, Jeanette Santiago (Raul) of Pleasantville, Michele Taylor (Joseph) of Pleasantville; stepsons, Kevin Whitted of Atlantic City, Michael Hargrose of Atlantic City, and Ricardo Whitted (Enna) of Novi, MI. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Ivan Whitted, Jr., Myles Whitted, Nigel Whitted, Kelsey Whitted, Ryan Whitted and Bryce Whitted; and numerous step-grandchildren. A Service of Love will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2007, at Greenidge Funeral Home, 301 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, where friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Burial will be in Atlantic City Cemetery.

I was saddened to hear of your passing. Although we had never met, Ivan had described your strong personality and your spunk. If Ivan is an example of the type of man you were, then I am sure you will be sorely missed.
