6/12/2025- I have tried to think of a guy I know or have known who has the cool demeanor and swag that Jackson possessed. Can't come up with a name except to wonder if Jackson was a mentor to former president Barack Obama ? Think about it. He and Kaye made such a fabulous couple because she also has always been cool since knowing her in elementary school. Everyone will agree that Jackson's coolness was one of his signature traits. We still miss you my friend. Love, Yvonne

My heart is heavy and my prayers and condolences are with Judge Jackson's family, my fellow Jackson law clerks, Kristine, and everyone whose life was impacted by Judge Jackson's great spirit, wisdom, and compassion. I just learned today, 6/22/2024, about the sad news of Judge Jackson's passing; unfortunately, I live too far away and was unable to attend today's memorial service. I will continue to cherish and appreciate the moment that Judge Jackson selected me to serve as his law clerk from 2002 to 2003. It was truly an honor to serve and work with the Judge. Not only did Judge Jackson teach me how to succeed in the practice law, but he brilliantly showed me how the law should be balanced with both common sense and compassion.

To the family of Judge Jackson: I thank God for this creation...my meeting and learning from this great man. I pray that Judge Jackson's soul will eternally rest in peace and love.

With great sympathy and love, Teneshia Lewis
