August 25, 1984 - January 9, 2025

It is with tremendous sadness, that we announce the passing of Jillian Marion (Catrambone) McKelvey on January 9, 2025, in Murrieta, CA.

Born August 25, 1984, in Jersey City, NJ, and raised in Parkertown, NJ, she was a graduate of Pinelands Regional High School class of 2002.

Jillian was steadfast and pure in all she did. She had a smile that lit up a room and a heart of gold who never ceased to amaze. As a Marine Corps wife, her strength and devotion shined wherever life took her. During her 17 years as a military spouse, she traveled to many places to include: Cherry Point, NC; Atlanta, GA; Iwakuni, Japan; Fredericksburg, VA; and Murrieta, CA. She made countless friends and gained valuable experiences along the way.

Jillian earned her Registered Nurse license in Virginia in 2019, and she poured her compassion and love into psychiatric care in San Diego, CA.

Devoted wife of Charles McKelvey, loving mother of Emma Grace and Colin Garrett, a gentle, loyal friend to many.

Jillian was predeceased by her father, Michael Catrambone, and sister, Lauren Catrambone. She is survived by her mother, Patricia, and brother, Michael.

As we grapple with the loss of her physical presence, we find solace in knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Friends and family will gather at 10 a.m. with a Memorial Mass starting at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church located at 450 Radio Rd, Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ, 08087.

A celebration of life to follow at Cuisine on the Green from 1-4 p.m.; 261 Country Club Blvd, Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ, 08087.

Speechless...hoping that this is not the Jillian that we know and could be another person. A very optimistic, compassionate coworker that I met at Brookside Healthcare in Redlands. It was short but sweet encounter with her. Heaven definitely gained another angel. We will surely missed you. Condolences to her family and relatives

Jillian was such a beautiful person but more importantly she much more beautiful on the inside. The words in her obituary are spot on. She will be greatly missed by all that have gotten to know her but importantly the ones who got to love her. The world will not be as shiny and bright now but I know heaven is glowing. Girl you are so missed already!!! Love you forever

We randomly ran into each other in Morehead City NC 5-6 years after we graduated. It was a pleasant surprise to see a welcoming friend so far from where we grew up. We both grew up in parkertown, i lived on Dock St. right across the other side of Rt.9. We ended up working together for a year in Atlantic Beach NC at The Beach Tavern (circa 2008-2009) and we had so much fun working together. She was always a bright spot and carried the best smile! She will be missed. My heart and prayers go to all her family in this heartbreaking time.
