John Anthony Applegate

1977 - 2023

Applegate, John Anthony, - of Las Vegas, It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Little John, as he was known to family and friends. He passed suddenly on December 29th 2023. John was currently living in Las Vegas with his spouse Lee and children Jordan, Victoria, McKinley and Gabby. He grew up and attended schools in the AC area, graduating from Holy Spirit High School.

John is survived by his family members: mother Theresa, Aunts Mary Susan Dooley, Michele (John) Baglivo, Kathleen Brown, and Liz (Bill) Burke and Uncles John Michael and Christopher; cousins Ryan, Caitlin, Kerry, Tim and Rory Burke, Matthew Brown, Jackie (Chris) Norman, Megan and Michael Baglivo and Chris Applegate. We include his extended family of friends and former co-workers at Borgata Casino.

It is our hope that John's Legacy of Love, compassion and dedication to family lives on in those he cherished and those who cherished him. His friend Kyle Hurley has created a GoFundMe page to assist John's spouse and children living in Las Vegas.

A Memorial Mass Service for family and friends will be held on Monday January, 8th 2024, at 11 a.m. at St Nicholas church, Tennessee and Pacific Aves. in Atlantic City. We gather to remember the kind, loving, gentle soul who touched so many lives.
