JOSEPH GULD Obituary



GULD SR., JOSEPH A. 87 -of Galloway, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 11, 2010. He was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran and a member of VFW Post 2389 and dedicated member of St. Peter's Church and the Church of the Assumption. In his early days he was the friendliest TV Repairman in the area and a master electrician retired from Wheaton's Plastics. His lifelong passions were fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his parents John and Johanna Guld, brothers, John, Joel, Jerome and sister Johanna Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Catharine J (Hone); his children Joseph, Jr. (Janice), Jerome (Susan), Christine Libertore (Joseph), Raymond (friend Cathy); Roseann Williamson (Christopher); grandchildren, Timothy Guld; Jessica Colella (Tim); Kelly Guld, MD; Joseph Libertore (Krista); James Libertore; Dean Guld; Matthew Guld; Lauren Guld; Rhett Williamson; Bryan Williamson; and great-granddaughter Katie Claire Colella. Also survived by brother James Guld; sisters Joan Olsen and Julia Grieshaber(Richard); plus many nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday January 16, 2010 at the Church of the Assumption, 146 South Pitney Road Galloway, NJ. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the mass at the church on Saturday. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Assumption. Arrangements entrusted to and condolences may be left at: adams-perfect.com
