KATHLEEN JONES Obituary
JONES, KATHLEEN J. (Nee KEENAN) - 7/19/1955 - 5/26/2013, of Somers Point, left us to be with her creator on Sunday, 5/26/2013 with her husband Jerry and her baby "Cherokee" by her side. She will be missed by all who knew her. Born in Holy Name Hospital and raised in Teaneck, NJ, she was the daughter of John and Barbara (Kleiber) Keenan. Kathy was a very compassionate person and was always there for everyone. Survivors include her brother Jack (Shirley) and nephew Michael and niece Nadine. Also numerous Aunts and Uncles, many cousins and a whole bunch of friends. Cremation is her request and sometime in the near future there will be a remembrance service on her behalf. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 east 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Dearest Jerry, it is with such a heavy heart that I read this obituary and sign this page. My "Ellen" was my very best friend. She was the bravest. What a battle she fought. And what a loyal caretaker and love you were to her. The endless hours turned into years and I know that you would not have been anywhere else. She was your purpose, she was your life!
My Ellen, I have loved you with all my heart for twenty-three years.
We had such a bond that I don't believe even death could break it.
You knew my thoughts before I spoke them and we were inseparable. Closer than sisters! What a journey we had. My children are all the better for having had you in their lives and are having a tough time dealing with your passing, as am I. We are so grateful for the last days we spent with you. You were remarkable with your humor and your love. I refuse to say goodbye to you! It's......'til we meet again'! If I know you, you're straightening out heaven for those of us you left here and rejoicing with your parents and Larry! I love you, I miss you, I will see you again my precious Ellen.
