Luke Andrew Dillon, of Northfield NJ, passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2025.

Luke was born on August 23, 1987. He was a loving son and brother and a loyal friend. His childhood in Northfield was full of fun- playing sports, riding bikes and hanging out with friends and family; memories he always treasured. He was always the life of the party, he loved music and dancing.

Luke was a 2006 graduate of Mainland High School and a 2010 graduate of Salisbury University. He taught Health and Phys Ed at Pennsylvania Ave. school in Atlantic City where he cared deeply about his students. He was a lifeguard on the Atlantic City Beach Patrol for many years.

Surviving family members who will miss Luke everyday forever are his parents, Anne and Chuck, his brothers, Casey (Grace) and Conor, many aunts, uncles, cousins and maternal grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Moose Lodge in the Chelsea Heights section of Atlantic City, from 12 to 3 p.m. Mass will be private. Oh my Goodness I cant believe this . I'm just now finding this out from social media . Mr. Dillion was my Favorite Gym Teacher . he had a Bright warm smile and a passion for helping and educating students. His only job wasn't just fitness he made it his business to do wellness checks with students . He cared for every single last one of us as if we were his own . Long Live Mr D. you will always and forever be in my heart.

I had the pleasure of directly working along side Luke as a PE Teacher at Penn Ave. for four years. Every student loved Mr. Dillon as he was the life of every event at school. We spent countless hours laughing during lunch, on duty, and in class. He will greatly be missed by his colleagues, students, friends, and the local community. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
