MARGARET BERTI Obituary
BERTI, MARGARET 97 - passed away May 4, 2010 at home following a short illness. Margaret was born in New York City on June 24, 1913 and was raised in Massena, NY, and Dorothy. She resided on Landis Avenue for the Past 68 years. She is predeceased by Nicholas J. Berti, lher husband of 55 years, her daughter, Janet Hickman as well as two grandsons, Dan Hickman and Jeffrey Gross. Margaret was employed at the Atlantic County Surrogate's office for 9 years, and then at Leesburg State Prison until she retired in 1979. Since her retirement she enjoyed traveling to Europe, Hawaii, and the continental USA. She is survived by three daughters, Jean Gross and Geraldine Cardy (John) both of Vineland, and Judith Rodriguez (Mario) of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by her two sons, Nicholas J. Berti, Jr. (Patricia Sacco) and Richard Berti (Darci Byrum), both of Vineland. Margaret leaves ten grandchildren, Joseph Gross (Ann), Jeff Gross (Nancy), Jacqueline Gross, William Lee, Richard Berti, Eric Berti, Nicholas Berti, Randall Hughes (Deanna), D. Scott Collins (Chere), Dean Hickman (Cindy). She also leaves 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Church visitations will be held on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 am at St. Padre Pio Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church followed by funeral mass to be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Union Road, Vineland. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360. To the Berti Family:
I was saddened to hear about your mom. She was a sweetheart. I remember many times spending an afternoon visiting with her daughter/my friend Janet at the homestead. You are all in my prayers.

Dear Berti Family,
Just want to let you know I have a beautiful picture of your Mother and Father's wedding. You probably have the same picture. My Mother Florence Pacula was a bridesmaid in the picture. I'm sure you have the original picture, but I am writing just in case you don't.

To the family of Mrs. Berti, I am sorry for your loss. It was an honor to be there in the time of need to take care of your mom. She is blessed to have the loving family as she has. Thank you all for allowing me to be a part (even though it was brief) of her life. God Bless and you are in my prayers.
