Marie Jacquelyn Mullanaphy-Senf

Mullanaphy-Senf, Marie Jacquelyn (nee Lindsay), - 93, of Moyock, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Currituck House. She was a native of Bayonne, NJ, and also resided in Ventnor and Egg Harbor, NJ. She settled in Moyock, NC, to be close to family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James A. Mullanaphy Jr, her beautiful infant daughter, Jacquelyn, and her second husband, Frederick Senf. Marie and James have five surviving children, Jean Freeman, James Mullanaphy (Cecilia), Valerie Lee (James), William Mullanaphy (Joanne) and Neil Mullanaphy (Lenora), as well as a stepdaughter, Nancy (Senf) McGillacuddy (Brian). She has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marie was among the first to graduate from the Atlantic County Workforce Program in 1980 earning a certification as an Accounting Clerk and was employed by the Atlantic County Public Works Departments for 26 years, where she made many friends. She and her husband Frederick Senf were active members of the Egg Harbor VFW for many years. She loved making crafts, gifting and selling them at area craft fairs and flea markets, she also had a lifelong love of reading. More than anything else, she loved being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially during the holidays. She made everyone around her feel special and never had an unkind word about anybody. Nobody was a stranger to Marie, as they were all made to feel part of the family because of her warm welcomes, good nature and great sense of humor. Family and friends are welcome to join in a celebration of Marie's life on Friday, November 19 from 4pm to 6pm with the service at 6pm at Wimberg Funeral Home in Galloway 609-641-0001.
