NANCY PALMISANO Obituary
PALMISANO, NANCY LEE (nee ROBINSON) 45 - of Galloway, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Nancy grew up in Absecon and graduated from Holy Spirit High School, Class of 1984. She was very active within the Galloway School District as a lead room mother, and with the Galloway Mustang Football Association. She also loved gardening and going to the beach. Predeceased by her father, James Robinson, she is survived by her beloved husband and childhood sweetheart, Michael F. Palmisano; her two sons, Michael, Jr. and Nicholas; her mother, Nancy Robinson; her sister, Donna Nungesser (Michael), and their daughters Shannon and Sarah; her brother, Keith Knowles (Pauline); her mother and father-in-law, Phyllis and Ronald Palmisano; many nieces and nephews; and the Palmisano family. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home,1650 New Road, Northfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 19th at 10:00am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon. Burial will be held privately in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to The Palmisano Family Benefit Fund at any TD Bank Branch. Arrangements entrusted to and condolences may be left for her family at: adams-perfect.com

I am at a loss for words at the loss of Nancy. You talked so much about your family when I met you in July I know how hard is must be. I hope all will work out for you, as hard as it may be, and things will look brighter in the future. May GOD bless and care for your family now and always.

To The Palmisano family, you are certainly in our prayers and thoughts! Ms. Palmisano was a very active member of The Roland Rogers' Elementary School - Family School Association. Nancy always had a kind word to say and was here when we needed volunteers. We will miss her tremendously! The Roland Rogers' faculty, staff and administration are here for the family, especially Michael, Jr. & current Roland Rogers student, Nicholas.

it is still soo hard to go to services of friends. Just know that so many care about you and your boys. Don't think you have to do everything yourself. That's what "friends" are for. If you need help just ask someone, we will all help you through this. Also, after we lost Shelby we went to Alcove. A great place for greiving kids and adults.

Mike, Mike, and Nick,
Nancy and I worked together at Shoprite for several years, we always had fun and laughed alot. Then later we became neighbors on Sixth Ave. I saw her faithfully walking the two dogs up and down the street and of course the boys would be riding along side her on their bikes, she would stop and chat for awhile. I am so very sorry for your loss Mike and if you need anything I am here for you and the boys. God bless and Nancy will surely be missed in our neighborhood. Love, Karen Conover

nancy was always such a happy and upbeat person, the neighborhood won't be the same without her, will miss seeing her out everyday walking the dog. She will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family..

Nancy, you are very missed and you brought joy to a lot of people's lives. I will always remember the fun my friends and I had in your company growing up in Absecon. I was very sad to hear about Nancy. I will always remember her as the very Loving & over all down to earth person. She & mike were a perfect match.In Grade school, & High School they will always come to mind. I will continue to pray for you all & the family. I know words can only do so-much ...But it will be God & family & Friends that will support you & help you in your time of needs.. To Mike, Mike, Nick, and Mrs Robinson~ We loved Nancy with all our hearts and are shocked and devastated by the news of her passing. We only heard today, and would have flown up if we'd known sooner. Nancy was one of my very best friends in NJ; she brought us all great JOY and LOVE. She was the most fun-loving, giving person I knew, and although we already missed her terribly because we moved, our grief at her loss today is immeasurable. The only solace we can find is that she is now with her Dad whom she loved so dearly and missed so much when he passed away. GOD BLESS YOU NANCY- and God bless you Mike, Mike and Nicky. Nancy and I worked together for years at DFK and I will remember her fondly. When Michael was born, she entrusted her cat, Elliot, to my wife and me; he is still the sweetest cat (thanks to Nancy, I'm sure!)
