I worked at J.M. Fields, with Goldy, in 1974. I never had him as a teacher. I was in Ventnor Middle School, which was 7th & 8th graders. My younger brothers, had him. My two children, also had him as their teacher, in 8th grade, at the Ventnor Educational Community Complex. I also, worked at the school as an instructional aide. I remember, that he was the only teacher, in the school that did his lesson plans, handwritten. May God be with you all, in this time of need.

Such a nice man and good friend to my parents. Always kind and helpful to this math phobic student! We will remember him so fondly!

The best teacher I´ve ever had. Had him most of my middle school for math and home room. He was either giving us the weather report or blasting Shania Twain between classes. Always held us all accountable, the only class I jumped for joy getting a B in, and the only one to be thrown out of because I talked to much. He Was tough, but he did it with love, and I can say many of us still think of him now as adults. He will be greatly missed, he sure did leave an impact on a lot of us, Ventnor was lucky to have him. Sending Prayers to his family.

Mr. Goldstein was by far one of my favorite teachers that I have ever had. I think many of my classmates would echo the same sentiments. He had a huge impact on all of us at Ventnor Middle. I can still here his voice saying to us...and I say to myself....self!...what a guy. A legend truly.
My condolences to his family.

I would wash my 7th grade home room teacher´s chalkboard after school everyday and he would always say he was going to get me to wash his.
Better believe my 8th grade year he was my home room teacher and I cleaned his chalkboard every day after school. I enjoyed our time spent! Will never forget him! My condolences to his wife, children, family and everyone he has come across

Hands down, the best. Somehow each year I moved up a grade, his assignment changed and he was our class´ teacher. Pythagorean theory enthusiast, always well dressed even on staff dress down days. You can say to yourself.... "Self...". What a great guy and a huge loss.
