Stuart Kraft Obituary

Stuart Mark Kraft

Stuart Mark Kraft, 72, of Atlantic City, passed away on September 29, 2025. He was born on March 20, 1953, in Philadelphia to Sandy and Leonard Kraft. Stuart lived life with boundless energy and an adventurous spirit. He was a man who loved being active. Whether it was exercising, surfing, or spending time at the beach, he was always on the go. The ocean was his happy place, and he found peace and joy in the beauty of the waves. For over 30 years he worked as a teamsters union truck driver making rounds to many of the restaurants, bars and casinos in Atlantic City, a job he loved and took pride in. He was known on his route as "Stuman" as so many endearingly called him. His first love was Dawn Carlin, with whom he had two children, Christina and Brian. After her passing, he later married Casey O'Neil, and together they had two more children, Joshua and Kelsey. Though Christina passed before him, he carried her memory always. Stuart took great pride in being a father of four and a grandfather of three boys; his children and grandchildren were the center of his world. He will be remembered for his strength, kind nature and zest for life, as well as his love for family, animals and the beach that always called him home.

He is survived by his children, Brian (Brielle), Joshua, and Kelsey; grandchildren, Dean, Dylan, and Daniel; siblings, Adrienne, Sindy (Karl), and Lyn; and many friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his first love, Dawn; his beloved wife, Casey; his daughter, Christina; and his parents, Sandy and Leonard.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a memorial service at George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood, N.J. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of his life and the love he shared with all who knew him Condolences may be extended to the family at ghwimberg.com.

Stu, I will miss you! So kind and compassionate, and seeing the best in everyone. You touched so many people on your travels on the boardwalk. It just won´t be the same without you. Enjoying each day for what it brought, and appreciating the little things in life. Thank you for your support and kindness. Love Linda and Gigi

Met Stu in High School on the basketball court. We remained friends through the years. We would talk about our kids and later our grandkids. Of course there would be the occasional conversation about the `60´s and early `70´s and the crazy things we did. RIP Stuart. See you on the other side.
