Resurrection Promise
Do not cry as your loved ones pass,
God has promised it will not last,
The time is coming with all things new,
And your loved ones brought back to you,
Revelation 21: verses three and four,
States that death and sorrow will be no more,
Remember Jesus said his friend was asleep,
We will be called back to be his sheep,
Yes it hurts to lose someone,
But soon every bad thing will be undone,
Trust in Jehovah with all your heart,
He’s been with us from the start,
So as we go on in this old life,
Remember he will rid us of this pain and strife,
Take his hand and see his power,
When he brings his judgment hour,
Those in the memorials tombs will come out,
We will all be happy and able to shout,
Look what God has went and done,
He's brought back Mothers, Fathers, Daughters and Sons.

I don't know where to begin, how do you say enough about someone you knew for 40 years and shared so many good and bad experiences together. I was devasted to hear that my friend "Newt" had left us all too early in life. We had first met in the elementary school and grew close through the years in school and on the football field. Newt always possessed a strong will to succeed and improve not just as a football player but human being. He was always there for his friends, sharing kind words of encouragement and making us all feel good about ourselves during some bad times. Some memories that Tom and I shared are as vivid today as when then first occurred. Such as, being voted most improved players our senior year, seeing each other get married and him giving me words of encouragement as I battled cancer. Newt, you will surely be missed, not just by me but by the many people you touched over the years and were proud to have you as their friend.

I am deeply saddened by hearing of Tom's passing. He always brought a smile whenever I saw him. I have known Tom since he started in the sales business. Everytime I saw him he shared stories of his growing family, he was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He brought humor with him in all that he did. I considered him a friend even though most of our contact was through business. My prayers and blessings are with his family. Take comfort in knowing Tom will always have a legacy in all the lives that he touched.

Dear Sue and Family,
Paul and I were shocked and so deeply saddened to hear about Tom. He was always so congenial. We always looked forward to seeing him in our office. He brightened our day. We attended the memorial service on Wednesday evening and were so comforted by all the warm, humorous reminences. He was such a good man. We loved getting our annual Christmas card with the children on it. I hope that the treasure of such beautiful memories and a measure of time will offer you and the family some of that comfort. Keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Love Patrice and Paul

I was overwhelmed when I found out today about Tom. I found out because a colleague needed help with a piece of home equipment and I knew Tom would go out of his way to help them because he knows me. So, I made that connection about two weeks ago. My colleague called me today to tell me the news about Tom. Then she proceeded to tell me about how Tom was so helpful. I have known Tom before he started his own business. He always went out of his way to help me and provide the highest level of customer service. We have become friends over the years and shared stories obout our children. I have twin boys (and three others), so we liked to exchange stories and pictures. He was so dedicated and proud of this children and his wife. I know he loved Ocean City. We rented his Ocean City flat and could see why he loved that island so much. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and I pray Tom will enjoy his resting place in Ocean City.

Mr.Newkirk, Mrs. Newkirk, Mark and families,
Growing up with Tommy was always an adventure. There really wasn't much to do in Bargaintown when we were kids. But Tommy was always at our house ready and eager to hang out with us, whether it was riding motorcycles, three wheelers or making ramps to jump with our bikes. The woods behind our houses was our playground. I'll always remember the day that Tommy gave me an indian-rub-burn behind Mabel's house one day. Typical boy teasing a girl... LOL
May you always have the fond memories of Tommy close to your heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
