Connie Weyerman Obituary

Connie Ellen Bosworth Weyerman passed away on September 10, 2025, following complications from knee surgery. The daughter of Oran Cole Bosworth and Carlene Frew, she was born three months early on January 5, 1950, upstairs at Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho. She grew up in the community she loved, attending Preston Elementary, then West Side Junior High and West Side High School. From the start she was resilient, kind, and full of quiet determination.

In 1970, while working at Bangers Potatoes, Connie met Harold J. Weyerman. Later, Connie proposed to Harold. They were married on May 7, 1971, in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they welcomed two beautiful daughters, Barbra and then Tonya, and they carried in their hearts the tender memory of twin baby boys lost between their daughters. Connie was also blessed with a bonus son, Gary Tovey, whom she loved as her own.

Connie's faith was unwavering. She was devoted to her church and to serving others. She loved baking, crafts, art, and tending her flower and vegetable gardens. She taught 4-H and encouraged young people to learn, try, and grow. On sunny days she could be found riding her bicycle around town, visiting others and spreading joy with every stop.

Her greatest joy was her family. She praised her grandchildren's accomplishments, showed up for every moment she could, and filled their lives with handmade gifts, stories, and the steady assurance of her love.

To her siblings, her children, her grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, and her many friends, Connie was a constant source of light. She had an adorable laugh and a smile that brightened every room. She made people feel seen, loved, and cherished, often with a simple phone call or a gift made by hand.

Connie is survived by her brothers, Bob (Amy) Bosworth of Weston, Idaho, and Carl (Vickie) Bosworth of Preston, Idaho; her children, Barbra (Steve) Johnson of Preston, Idaho, and Tonya Weyerman of Weston, Idaho; her bonus son, Gary (Sandy) Tovey of The Plains, Ohio; her grandchildren, Hannah, Kyle, Amelia, Wanda, Emily, Dominic, Kyler, and Eddie; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oran Cole Bosworth and Carlene Frew; her husband, Harold J. Weyerman; her twin baby boys; and her grandson, Kodi J. Christensen.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. The family invites loved ones to share memories of Connie and celebrate the kindness she gave so freely. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the Preston 3rd Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Weston, Idaho Cemetery. I remember Connie. I believe we were in some classes together in Preston, maybe in third grade, but I didn't know where she went. I guess she attended the rest of her school years in Weston. I'm sorry to hear of her passing and related health concerns. My condolences to her family and loved ones.
