Let me start by saying, that Mr. Goode will always hold special place in my heart. From the first day our lives crossed (and meeting his dedicated and loving wife) I knew he was a true soldier. No doubt, in the military sense, but more importantly for his beloved SAVIOUR. His smile was contagious. He had a kind and gentle spirit. We all should pull from his goodness and courage. I so admired his strength and endurance…all with that wonderful smile. He always thanked me for my care, but he gave me much more. He put my life in perspective, gently reminding me that life is short and love endures. Thank you my friend and I will see you again!!!
God Bless his wfie and family during this most difficult time.
Love,
Janet Koren RN at the VA Hospital

Sending prayers to Mrs. Beverly, Mel and Michelle and Nick. I know is has been a tough few years but i know you are a strong family and will get through this. Pray God continues to comfort you all during this time. Mr. Goode has always been such a nice person. My span of knowing him streches at least 20 years from Al and I being in school together and my friendship with Mel and Michelle in adulthood. He will truly be missed and i feel blessed to have known him for so many years. I will especially miss our reoccuring run ins with him and Mrs. Beverly in our favorite store(Sams Club).

To the Goode Family,

As you cope with the loss of a beloved family member, please know that the PHS Class of 1974 has lost a dear classmate.
It is ironic that the last time I saw Alfred was at the homegoing service of another classmate back in November. He was so happy to receive hugs and handshakes from so many of us that afternoon - and he looked forward to being a part of our upcoming 40th reunion celebration. That image of his smiling face that day is one that many of us will carry in our hearts forever.
May you all be comforted with wonderful memories of Alfred.
