BONNIE V. MINTER

Bonnie V. Minter, 64 of Prince George, peacefully went to be with the Lord On November 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lena and Lewis Vaughan, and her husband, Russell Allen Minter.

Bonnie is survived by her son Randall A. Minter, and daughter, Michelle L. Minter, and sister, Patricia (Fred).

Bonnie worked for the City of Richmond for over 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed several hobbies. She loved gardening; her favorite plant to grow was the Fat Boy tomato. She was an exceptional knitter and spent many hours making patchwork quilts. Bonnie loved reading and found comfort in books with inspirational and uplifting themes. She loved to eat out and was a very loyal customer to Rosa's Pizza in Hopewell, Virginia. Most of all, Bonnie loved spending time with her grandchildren and always kept them close to her heart and in her mind. She will be missed by her grandsons, Jeremy Minter and David Minter; her nephew, Mark Cody; and two great-grandchildren, Mia and Malia; brother-in- law, Charles Minter and his wife, Wanda and her family, Nichole, Audra, Bridgett, Cameron, Damon. Bonnie shared a special bond with her belated husband's niece, Stephanie Cook, and will be missed by Stephanie's children; Isaiah Cook, Alijah Cook, and Isabel Fletcher.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017, at 5 p.m., at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 820 W. Broadway Ave, Hopewell, VA.
