Carl E. Brundin, Jr.
Carl E. Brundin, Jr., 81, peacefully joined the community of saints on August 12, 2021. Carl was born on February 3, 1940, in Dumont, NJ and resided in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia. He retired to Prince George with his wife of 57 years, Verna Snyder Brundin. Carl treasured his family and was a role model as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Carl was predeceased by his parents, Carl Edward and Phoebe Alberta Brundin; Sister, Alberta Brundin. In addition to his wife, Verna. Carl is survived by two daughters, Stacey Anthony (Chris) and Susan Chase (Riza); grandchildren, Nicholas (Joyceanne), Jonathan and Leyla; Sister, Carolyn Colfax (Ralph); Brother, Douglas (Gerry); Nieces and Nephews, Kimberly, Matthew, Douglas, Jr., Dawn and Adam.
Carl was a member of an elite New York Army National Guard band for six years. He worked as a programmer/analyst on IBM mainframe computers throughout his long successful career. Carl was a life-long active member in his local church, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school and serving in various financial roles. The legacy of his servant's heart lives on through the family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Hopewell, VA. Interment will be private. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Condolences can be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
