CHRISTINE GOFF Obituary

Christine Shields Goff, 88, of Maryland, formerly of Colonial Heights, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Erwin Lee Goff; a son, Michael D. Goff; and her parents, Robbie and Katherine Pribble Shields.

Mrs. Goff is survived by her daughter, Carole G. Coleman and her husband, Ronald, of Timonium, Md.; brother, Carlyle Shields of Lynchburg, Va.; niece, Linda Hurdle of Virginia Beach, Va.; and a friend of over 60 years, Frances Barr of Colonial Heights, Va.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A procession will leave the chapel at 2:15 p.m. for a graveside service to be held at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Emergency Crew, P.O. Box 3401, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Condolences may be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com.
