He was born on Aug. 7, 1994, to Letitia Rollins and Corey M. Lewis Sr.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Gene Gilliam; paternal grandfather, Fred C. Jones Sr.; maternal great-grandmother, Natherine Rollins; paternal great-grandmother, Nellie Lewis; paternal great-great-grandmother, Annie G. Berry; uncle, Fred C. "Lil Fred" Jones Jr.; great-aunts, Mary Rollins, Louise F. Scott and Alice Briggs; great-uncles, Herbert Rollins and Leroy Smith.
Left to cherish his memories, his parents, Letitia Rollins of Petersburg, Va., and Corey M. Lewis Sr. of Prince George, Va.; three brothers, Che' T. Lewis, Kimahry R. Lewis and Daquane Hinton; four sisters, Sh'niya N.M. Rollins, Dyamond Naicora Lewis, Tyrasha M. Browder and Tiasha R. Browder, all of Petersburg, Va.; loving and devoted grandmothers, Shirley Rollins of Petersburg, Va., and Kim Edmonds of Prince George County, Va.; great-grandmother, Mildred Jones of Petersburg, Va.; four aunts, devoted-Colitha Rollins, Darissa Edmonds, Christinia Rollins and Shauntelle Jones; two uncles, Adrian Edmonds and Zequez Jones; great-aunts, devoted-Daisy Claiborne, Vanessa Walker, Marie Rollins, Ernette Crawley, Lillie B. Lewis and Barbara McCrae; great-uncles, Howard Walker, Hermon Rollins, Melvin Rollins, Timothy Jones, Clifton Weaver and Bobby Weaver, all of Petersburg, Va., and Bernard "BB" Lewis of Manhattan, N.Y.; great-great-aunt, Dorothy Leach of Petersburg, Va.; great-great-uncle, the Rev. Leroy A. Cherry (Brenda) of Petersburg, Va.; godparents, Elayne Moore and Walter Tucker; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held noon Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Third Baptist Church, 550 Farmer St., Petersburg, Va.; the Rev. Leroy Cherry, pastor, eulogist. The interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 1025 S. Crater Road, Apartment 16-C, Petersburg, Va., and may be contacted by calling 804-691-2559 and 13090 Gravelbrook Road, Petersburg, Va. (Prince George County) and may be contacted by calling 804-586-9960.

I never taught Corey at Dinwiddie Middle School but I knew of him. I clearly remember shaking his hand one day at school while speaking to him. I wish I could have done more, we should all do more. Our condolences to the Lewis family. The Spence families, Petersburg and Dinwiddie, VA
