DARRICK A. WEBB

Mr. Darrick Antione Webb, of 3620 Millers Glen Lane, Henrico, Va., departed this life suddenly on Sunday, April 27, 2014.

He was born Jan. 27, 1981, to Rosalind Ghee and Darryl Jackson. He was baptized at an early age at Word of Life Center in Hopewell, Va. He attended Hopewell High School. Darrick's favorite football team was the Philadelphia Eagles and his favorite basketball team was the Miami Heat. He was a very outgoing person who loved to joke and have fun, and he loved a variety of music and his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Jackson; grandfather, Thomas Webb; great-grandmother, Louise B. Webb; uncles, Clinton Webb and Thomas Jackson; aunt, Karen Webb; great-uncles, Lawrence Webb, John Webb, Fletcher Webb; and cousin, Kirk Van Allen Webb Jr.

Darrick leaves to cherish his memory, his son, D'Andre S. Webb of Prince George, Va.; mother, Rosalind Ghee (Edward) of Henrico, Va.; father, Darryl Jackson of Spotsylvania, Va.; sisters, Shameka M. Webb of Highland Springs, Va., Lawanda Jackson of Hampton, Va., Stacey Iamurri (Anthony) of Philadelphia; brothers, Terrence E. Ghee of Henrico, Va., and Darrell T. Jackson of Spotsylvania, Va.; grandmother, Willie Mae Taylor of Hopewell, Va.; aunts, Rhonda Sutton of Texas, Janice Corbert (Thomas) of Maryland, Nadine Thomas (Willie) of Lunenburg, Va., Elvelin Reed (Billy) of Waverly, Va., Caroline Williams (Rivis) of Meherrin, Va., and Elma Jackson of Burkesville, Va.; uncles, Calvin L. Webb (Pam) of Petersburg, Va., Thomas Webb of Hopewell, Va., Kenneth Jackson of New York, Marvin Jackson (Dasie) of Baltimore, Cecil Jackson (Brenda) of Lunenburg, Va., David Chambers of Georgia and Malcolm Jackson of Keysville, Va.; great-aunts, Louise Farley of Blackstone, Va., Katherine Webb and Mary Webb, both of Kenbridge, Va.; great-uncle, Otis Webb (Diane); nieces, Anezia Givens, Tereona and Sadiya Ghee, Nevaeh Iamurri, Tajla Iamurri, Kyla Manuel, Alyssa Manuel and Ailani Jackson; devoted friend, Lacie Mitchell; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Darrick A. Webb will be held noon Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Zion Hill Temple of Prayer, 3107 Western St., Hopewell, Va.; Apostle Edward Blackwell officiating and Elder Helen I. Peace, eulogist. Interment to follow at Mt. Minnis Memorial Gardens.
