DOTTIE MEADE Obituary
Dottie was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church of McKenney, Va., and was employed with Personal Touch Home Care of Stony Creek, Va. She was preceded in death by several loved ones, her mother, Sarah King; her father, Ben T. Taylor; and her stepfather, Edward King, all of Dinwiddie, Va.; one son, Wayne Meade; two grandsons, Mario Meade and Damien Meade; her in-laws, Barrington and Dominion Meade; one sister, Lula Mae King; two brothers, Robert and Charles King; one brother-in-law, William Meade.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Edward Rochelle Meade of Jarratt, Va.; eight children, Kendall (Linda) Mabry of Jarratt, Robert Meade of Richmond, Jennifer Meade and Montree Meade, both of Jarratt, Penica Prosise (Antonio) of Jarratt, Lyniah, Omarion and Imani Taylor, all of Jarratt, Va.; her siblings, Wilbert Mabry (Dorothy) of Dinwiddie Va., Annie Meade (William) of Jarratt, Va., Barbara Williams (Bernard) of Killeen, Texas, James King (Mary) of Dinwiddie, Va., John King of Dinwiddie, Va., Bertha King of Colonial Heights, Va., Otis Ann Taylor of Maryland and Jean Taylor of Ettrick, Va.; one goddaughter, Tiffany Parham of Tappahannock, Va.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; two devoted grandchildren, Shaneca and Alexis Meade; and one devoted friend, Norma Parker.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015, at 1 p.m. from the Rocky Mount Baptist Church in McKenney. Bishop Dennis L. Dunn will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held at the W.L. Fields Funeral Home on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and at the church one hour before the funeral.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the W.L. Fields Funeral Home, 10814 Doyle Blvd., McKenney, Va., 804-478-4811. Online tributes can be left at www.wlfieldsfuneralhome.com.

Big Sis, My heart is heavy, I will always treasure our memories, im gne miss the way we use to talk on the phone...you always make me laugh..then at the end of our conversation we say we love each other!! You're gone, but never forgotten!! Words can't describe what I'm feeling right now,part of me still in shock! I have cried every night since you left....I no your in a better place, but for me you left too soon!!!
