To The Johnson Family,

We want you to know that we are thinking of you as celebrate the home going of Ernest. For we know to be absent from our earthly body is to be present with the Lord. He suffers no more for God took away all of his pain. We ask that He continues to wipe all of your tears, for they soon will be tears of joy. Comfort and the peace of God we extend to you this day and in the days ahead. We extend our deepest sympathy to his lovely wife. Earnest will be missed by so many and even though we haven't seen you recently, we still have many fond memories of the cookouts at your home and those great tasting hushpuppies that only Earnest could cook them just right. Earnest was no stranger to anyone and the two of you are such a beautiful couple. He will forever be in our hearts. God will take care of you, continue to trust him in all ways. Respectfully submitted Frank & Rev. Cynthia Houchens, Montpelier, VA

To Elsie, children and the Johnson family: Earnest fought a long and courageous battle. There has to be comfort in knowing that he had a relationship with God. He is free and at peace. We prayed consistently for him on the Prayer Line and we will continue to pray for your strength to get through this difficult time.
