To Gene's family,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time in your life. Gene was always a good friend to both of my parents for years, as she and "Scotchie" shared Saturday nights with mom and dad, on their double dates for dinner. I know that Gene will be missed by all.

Sincerely,

Christmas 2009 in North Carolina
