George Evanson Obituary

George Dennis Evanson, born 89 years ago in Nottinghamshire, England, died Aug. 31, 2009. Born to Cecil and Florence Evanson, he served in the British Army during WWII, and immigrated to the USA in 1957.

He is survived by his sister, Eileen Dullen; children, Ken Evanson, Shelagh Evanson and Maureen Meadors; grandchildren, Cori Cochran, Paul Bangley, and Gabriel Evanson; several great-grandchildren, plus two special friends from Colonial Heights.

George was thankfully able to maintain his independent nature to his death.

Services will be private; memorial donations may be made to Partners Among Cats and Canines (PACC), P.O. Box 1133, Franklin, VA. 23851. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
