This has been a huge pain on my heart. I can’t believe your parents are both gone. I will remember your parents as part of my family. I do have some photos of them if you would like them. Please send me an email.

I worked with Helen at El Paso County. She was in HR and I was in IT. She was definitely always my 'go to' person when I needed something because she not only knew her job inside and out, but she also was sincerely interested in assisting people. Helen was truly a genuine and caring person. God called her home, and one day the reunion will be grand! Rest In Peace, Helen.

I knew Mrs. Auer for almost 40 years as the mom of my best friend from college. I visited Charles often at his parents home during our college years. She always treated me like a member of the family. Over the years, I had opportunities to catch up with her and Mr. Auer as Charles and I ended up marrying sisters. Throughout all the years she was always the same gracious southern lady. Her husband, Charles Sr., her children, Margie and Charles, her four grandkids ( Chase, John Clark, Presley and Grant) were her pride and joy. They are her legacy. Her last year was difficult both physically and otherwise but I for one never heard her complain. God Bless and keep you close to him.
Sincerely,
David C.
